GARY -- Two suspects were taken into custody for a robbery-related shooting Friday at Jack's pawn shop. Police responded to the pawnbroker business at 1608 Broadway after receiving a call of shots fired about 5 p.m. The site also is known as Jack's Loan Office. INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A 23-year-old burglary suspect is in critical condition after a 64-year-old homeowner shot him in the chest just before 2:30 Thursday afternoon. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police say Phillip Dubbs came home to find his front door kicked in; he walked in and found Bryan Tuggle ransacking his home. Police say the two men got into a scuffle and Dubbs opened fire, striking Tuggle in the chest. Tuggle was rushed to Wishard Hospital where he is listed in critical condition. INDIANAPOLIS -- Two would-be robbers and a pizza delivery driver exchanged gunfire early Thursday morning after the men tried to rob the worker, police said. The incident happened at about 12:30 a.m. in the 2000 block of Bosart Avenue.
